JAMMU: Former State President BJP and Ex Minister Sat Sharma along with Executive Member JMC & Corporator Ward 37 Sunita Gupta started numerous developmental works at Janipur area of Jammu West Assembly segment. The leader was also accompanied by Mandal President Janipur BJP Raveesh Mengi, local residents and political activists of the area. The works were started near Ram Leela Ground, Janipur and it includes construction of other adjoining lanes as well in the ward. The works will be done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rs 25 lakh and the funds were allotted to the Corporator. Meanwhile, BJP Vice President Yudhvir Sethi re-launched Jammu Darshan Bus service which he flagged off on Wednesday to give boost to tourism sector post COVID-19 pandemic. Baldev Khullar, owner of Bus Service; Gyan Sharma, Incharge Operation of Jammu Darshan and Ashutosh Gupta BJP’s Transport Cell Convenor also accompanied the troupe and gave meaningful tips for enhancing local tourism prospects. Sethi also accompanied the group of Travel Agents and other stakeholders in the bus ride towards Suchetgarh Border, along with several other places of tourist interests including Peer Kho Temple, Jia Pota Ghat Akhnoor, Ropeways at Jammu and Patnitop, etc.He informed that the Jammu Darshan Bus will have regular service to Suchetgarh Border. Meanwhile, Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta said that BJP leadership in J&K is committed to all round development by rendering selfless service.The former Deputy Chief Minister said this while launching drain and tile works with an estimated cost of Rs 9 lakh here at Ward No. 20, Gandhi Nagar. Kavinder asserted that BJP is winning the hearts of the people by providing them what others have not.
