AKHNOOR: Police on Monday nabbed a youth and recovered 1980 banned tablets from his possession.As per details a party of Police Station Akhnoor during patrolling intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving suspiciously. On checking, Pregabalin Pregacip 780 tablets 75 Mg, Tramazide -P 1050 nostablet 37.5 Mg and Acetaminophen and Tramadol 150 tablets 37mg – total 1,980 tablets of banned narcotic substances were recovered from his possession. The accused, identified as Deepak Kumar (24), son of Bhagwan Dass, resident of Gurha Jagir tehsil Akhnoor, was arrested and a case vide FIR 02/2020 under sections 8, 21, 22 of NDPS Act was registered against him at Police Station Akhnoor.
