JAMMU: An Interactive forum for youth on the topic of “Abrogation of 370 and its positive impact on Good and Effective governance” was organization at High School, Manyal by local Rashtriya Rifles Battalion. The event witnessed a large participation especially youth of Manyal, Azmatabad and surrounding areas.
The speaker on the occasion highlighted the steps undertaken by the Central Government in bringing the state at par with rest other states of India.
Abrogation has also lead to various schemes reaching out to the far flung area of J&K state, thereby leading to good and effective governance at grass root level.
During interactive session, the elderly people expressed their satisfaction on getting Citizenship of India.
The initiative of Government in the form of DDC election was also seen as a positive step for overall development and better opportunities for youth in particular of UT. The local populace applauded the action taken by Army in making them aware of various Central Government Schemes which are now at their doorsteps for overall growth of their society and bridging the gap between them and Civil Administration.
