JAMMU: Congress leader and former President, Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCI) Jammu, Y V Sharma has resigned from the party on Saturday.In a press statement issued here, Sharma said, “I have been in public life for past many years and have championed the cause of Trade and Industry in Jammu as Secretary General and President CCI Jammu, for many terms. I have been associated with Congress and was on various positions in the party. Due to compelling reasons, I have decided to resign from all positions of party. However, I will remain active in public life and will announce future course in the days to follow.”
