‘World NGO Day’ celebrated

UDHAMPUR: To celebrate ‘World NGO Day’, NGO Jiyo Aur Jeene Do organized programme in which they invited members of 12 other social organisations of the city.
Members of many organisations including Senior Citizen Club President Retd SSP Mahadeep Singh Jamwal, Maqbool Shah President Sports Buddies, Satish Verma President of Prayas, Rakesh from Child Line among many other organisations were present. Speaking on the occasion, President of Senior Citizen Club SSP (Retd) Mahadeep Singh Jamwal said that many organizations in the society are working in their own fixed direction. Such programmes will give an opportunity to organizations to share a variety of thoughts which can further improve their working. Others who expressed their views include Satish Verma of Prayas organization, Dr. Sharma, Secretary Red Cross Society.
Tariq Shah, President of NGO Jio Aur Jeene Do said that for the betterment of society, it is necessary that the administration also supports and cooperate with the social organizations. If the organization acts as a government partner, the organisations can do even better work for the society.
Hans Raj sarpanch from Mansar, RK Verma from Garnai, Hakumat, Neena Kaul, Iqbal Hussain, Rajesh, Sahil, Faisal Shah, Vinod, Aaqib, Santosh Kumari,Anwar and Pawan Kumar were present.
