UT level Hockey competitions get underway

JAMMU: UT level Hockey competitions Boys U/17 & 19 yrs age group organized by District Youth Services & Sports Office Jammu continued on second day at New Campus University Ground, here.
Dr. Saleem-Ur-Rehman, Director General, Youth Services and Sports J&K UT Jammu visited on Saturday at the venue and interacted with the participants of teams.
He was welcomed by DYSSO Jammu, ZPEOs of District Jammu, Technical Officials and all the committees with officials of District Jammu.
DG-YSS was accompanied by Daud Iqbal Baba, Director Physical Education University of Jammu, Joint Director YSS Kashmir and ZPEO Baramulla.
Today Results U/19: Poonch beat Kathua by 3-0 goals (Mugal, Amandeep Singh & Jagmeet Singh scored one goal each). Srinagar beat Jammu by 4-1 via-tie breaker (Arun Pal, Faroz, Amanpreet and Harjot Singh scored one each goal). U/17: Poonch beat Baramulla by 5-1 goals (Jagmeet scored 2 goals, Akash Sudan, Ujjwal and Moosom Ahmad scored one goal each). Jammu beat Kathua by 7-0 goals (Jyotbir Singh and Kirandeep Singh scored three goals each and Supreet Singh scored one goal).
Matches were officiated by penal of experts of the department.
