University XI thrashs JCC in ongoing Tennis Ball Night Cricket Tournament

SAMBA: In an ongoing tennis ball night cricket tournament organised by Youth Sports & Affairs at High School Jatwal, University XI thrashed Jammu Cricket Club by 5 wickets.
JCC won the toss and elected to bat scored 104 in 12 overs. University 11 chased the target by losing 5 wickets. Kapil got Man of match award for his all-round performance as he scored 33 runs in 26 balls and took 2 wickets. Lt Col. Anil Khajuria graced the occasion as a Chief Guest.
In his address, he appreciated the efforts of sponsors and encouraged the youth to keep themselves busy in sports and physical fitness.
Ashwani Sharma, Raj kumar, Rajesh Sharma, Rishu, Arjun, Gopi, Raman Kumar, Rahul Sharma and Neeraj are the organizers of this tournament in which 32 teams are battling for the trophy.
