Tributes paid to Pulwama Martyrs

Akhnoor: In a very impressive way to pay tributes to the martyrs of Pulwama Attack, volunteers of NGO Umeed donated around 40 units of blood to recognise their sacrifice. The blood donation camp was organized under leadership of Anav Langer President NGO Umeed and Urvi Langer Vice President NGO Umeed. SDM Gopal Singh was the Chief Guest of the programme where as SDPO Varun Jandiyal, Team Jammu Chairman Zorawar Singh Jamwal were the Guest of Honours and SHO Akhnoor Ravi Parihar was the special guest of the occasion. In the beginning of the programme floral tributes were paid to the martyrs followed by a Patriotic singing performance by Rahul and Rohit. A medical team from SMGS Hospital Jammu was available to bleed the blood. Around 40 units blood was donated during the camp.
Addressing the gathering Zorawar Singh Jamwal Chairman Team Jammu praised the members of NGO Umeed for their unique way of paying tribute to the Martyrs of Pulwama attack. He assured full support of Team Jammu to the NGO for such kinds of programs. He further appealed the NGO members to carry their initiative to the rural areas spreading awareness in youth regarding drug menace.
Varun Jandial SDPO Akhnoor while recognizing the supreme sacrifice of the martyrs he appealed the civil society to recognize their sacrifice and appeal them to stand in support of the families of martyrs. He appealed youth to come forward and donate blood for the needful.
Chief Guest Gopal Singh SDM Akhnoor congratulated and appreciated Team Umeed for organizing such blood donation camp in memory of Pulwama Martyrs. He said youth should be inspired from our soldiers.
At the end of program appreciation certificates were given to the donors. Anav langer presented votes of thanks to all the guests present during the programme. Others present during program are: – Sajal, Suren, Harsh (Event Hosts), Aniket, Anubhav, Rajan, Jatin manni, Saima, Ankita, Suksham, Meetali, Ayush, Siddarth, Dr Abhinandan, Bhupendra Singh, Jimmy Mani, Sham Lal Magotra, Rahul Langer, Arun Chib, Rajesh Sharma etc.

BANI: Dr Rameshwar Singh, Zonal Medical officer, Primary Health Centre Koti Chandyar paid tributes to soldiers who attained martyrdom in the Pulwama terrorist attack, on the second anniversary of the deadly attack.
In a programme held here to remember the martyrs, and attended by people of Koti Chandyar, floral tributes were paid and lamps were also lit to pay homage to the bravehearts.
On this occasion, locals of the Chandyar area also paid rich tributes to the martyrs. They included Panchayat member Mohammad Yasin, Mohammad Irfan, Nasir Sheikh, Sher Khan and Gyas Din among others.

VIJAYPUR: Apni Party leaders and workers remembered the martyrs of Pulwama terrorist attack in Vijaypur. Led by Provincial President Jammu and Former Minister Manjit Singh, the leaders and workers of the party assembled at Vijaypur and remembered the sacrifices of the CRPF personnel martyred in a militant attack.
Speaking on the occasion, Manjit Singh said that “We are proud of our security forces who are defending borders and internal security of the country.”


He expressed his sympathy with the family members of 40 CRPF personnel who lost their lives for defending the nation.
“The CRPF personnel have given their lives for the future of our children. It is the responsibility of the citizens to respect the security force personnel who defend our borders and keep us safe,” said Manjit Singh.
He said that the Govt should ensure safety and security of the personnel when they are on their leave and provide all of them air-tickets.
He said that “Militancy has declined in Jammu and Kashmir but the anti-national elements still try to hurt the security establishments. The Govt should strengthen the security grid,” he demanded.

UDHAMPUR: Remem-bering brave hearts who sacrificed their lives for the nation two years ago, Senior Citizens’ Club Udhampur (SCCU) paid floral tributes to all those who made supreme sacrifice on the day. Speaking on the occasion, SCCU advisor S K Gandotra expressed that Indian’ will never forgive and will not forget this tragedy. Apart from President of the Club Mahadeep Singh Jamwal, Sham Lal Gupta Joint secretary, Kuldeep Kumar Publicity Secretary, Mohan Singh Treasurer of the Club, Sewa Singh Mankotia and Krishan Chader advisors, Dr Bipin Chander Verma and Vijay Kumar registered their presence on the occasion.
Meanwhile, NGO Jiyo Aur Jeene Do led by President Tariq Shah and members of the NGO paid floral tributes to the soldiers who were martyred in the Pulwama attack on this day, two years ago. Remembering the supreme sacrifice of the soldiers today, NGO members kept two minute’s silence and prayed for their spiritual peace.

POONCH: To pay tributes to martyrs of Pulwama attack, a remembrance was organised at Netaji Subash Chandar Bose Park Purani Poonch In which Yughal Kishore President SSS threw light over the politics done by various political parties over the martyrs and further appealed the parties to unite. A the large number of people attended the remembrance to pay homage to the martyrs.
Yougal kishore (President SSS Poonch); Capt. Om parkash; Capt. Harpal Singh; Sub . Raj Kumar; Master Hardev Singh; Sushil Sanotra; Vikas Dutta and Amjad Malik were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, Dr. Udeshpaul in association with Blood Bank, Raja Sukhdev Singh Hospital, Poonch organised a voluntary blood donation camp to commemorate the ‘Martyrs of Pulwama Attack’.
Former MLC Yashpaul Sharma, who was the chief guest, emphasised the importance of blood donation, as there is an acute shortage of blood supply and one can save precious lives by donating blood regularly. He added that everyone should get inspired from the sacrifice made by security forces and move forward in life. It is a matter of great pride that the youngsters of our area organised a blood donation camp to pay tribute to our martyrs who sacrificed their life for the sake of our motherland.

Speaking to the media, Dr. Udeshpaul, who was the key organiser behind this event, informed that similar activities were also undertaken in the past and appealed to the people of Poonch to lend their services towards the martyrs’ families in their surroundings also.
Dr. Mushtaq, Superintendent, Raja Sukhdev Singh Hospital Poonch, along with doctors, paramedical staff and prominent civil society members were present at the programme.
