JAMMU: Continuing with its efforts to encourage students/commuters to follow Traffic Rules during the ongoing National Road Safety Month, on the directions of ADGP Traffic J&K, T. Namgyal IPS & SSP Traffic Jammu, Shiv Kumar, Traffic Police Jammu on Monday organised different Road safety awareness programmes.While celebrating the 32nd National Road Safety Month, On Monday Road Safety awareness programmes at Govt College for Women Parade & Higher Secondary School Dansal, Jammu were organised.At GCW Parade, ASP Traffic Pardeep Singh Gouria highlighted that the purpose of this awareness programme is to make the students and staff aware of road safety thereby saving lives from road accidents.He sought the cooperation of all stakeholders in making the traffic system better in Jammu City.DySP Traffic City North Shivali Kotwal, also present on the occasion.At Dansal, Similarly An awareness program was carried out in which Students & Staff from Higher Secondary School Dansal were participated.“Wearing helmet, fastening seat belt and not exceeding speed limit on roads are keys of road safety. We have to collectively respect each other’s rights. Our right is to drive on roads should not endanger the life of other commuters,” DTI Nagrota, Inspr Rakesh Kumar told the participants.
