JAMMU: The much awaited Summer Bonanza celebration of Toddlers’ World- (a unit of JK Public School) was held online in view of pandemic crisis with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere, on Monday.
A number of children from pre-Nursery to U-KG participated in the event comprising many astounding activities like fancy dress show and summer fruits/vegetables bonanza. The children of Pre-Nursery and Nursery participated in fancy dress show based on the theme ‘Community Helpers’.
Attired in appropriate costumes, the participating children spoke about the character/person they were enacting with confidence and enthusiasm. Students of L-KG and U-KG displayed their talents on theme ‘Fruits & Vegetables’. Dressed as Mango, Apple, Brinjal, Carrot, Strawberry etc., they emphasised upon the need and importance of vegetables and fruits in making our lives healthy. The ambience was fun-filled with smiles stretched wide everywhere.
Shivangani Pandotra (Coordinator Toddlers’ World) said that intent of hosting such events online is based on inference that efforts should be made to organise co-curricular initiatives as a tool to overcome academic pressure and mental anxieties experienced by learners in pandemic situation. All in all, it was an enjoyable and memorable day for each and every child, which left an indubitable mark on innocent hearts.
