TNWS takes pledge to support Govt’s initiatives for retrieval of PoK

JAMMU: Extending full support to resolutions passed by Indian parliament in 1963 and 1994 regarding retrieval of PoK, the Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS) on Monday took pledge to cooperate with Government in its initiatives and decisions. During a function held to commemorate Accession Day of J&K, which was attended by a number of executive members and locals, TNWS President, Rajinder P Kakkar read administered ‘pledge’ to all participants. The pledge reads, “We, residents of Trikuta Nagar Colony Jammu take pledge that in respect to resolutions passed by members of Indian Parliament in 1963 and 1994, regarding inclusion of area of J&K illegally occupied by Pakistan and China back to India, we will cooperate by all means. To end terrorism and separatism and for development & prosperity of J&K UT, we will stand by with Government of India by all means. Jai Hind.”
Rich tributes were paid to Maharaja Hari Singh, Dr Syama Prasad Mookherjee, Brigadier Rajinder Singh, Brigadier Mohammad Usman and Major Somnath Sharma on the occasion. Congratulating all participants on Accession Day, Rajni Rohmetra, Senior leader BJP asked people, especially younger generations, to always remember sacrifices of aforesaid personalities, due to which J&K is presently a part of India. Neeraj Puri, President BJP Gandhi Nagar Mandal and Councillor Ward No. 54 spoke about sacrifices of aforementioned nationalist personalities, who saved J&K.
