TFWHNM announces biennial elections

JAMMU: The Executive/ Working Committee of Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market (TFWHNM) Jammu in its meeting held on Friday under the presidentship of Rattan Lal Gupta nominated Rajesh Bhagotra of Barkat Ram Pran Nath, 63-C Ware House as Election President to conduct the Biennial elections to elect the President, Sr. Vice President, Jr. Vice President, Secretary General, Secretary and Treasurer of the Federation for the term 2021-2023. The Election President Rajesh Bhagotra will nominate the members of his Election Committee/Poll Observers respectively necessary to conduct the free, fair, peaceful and transparent elections of TFWHNM Jammu in a couple of days. Earlier, Federation General Secretary Deepak Gupta, presented a detailed report of the works done by his team during the tenure to the Executive Committee.
Deepak said that the Federation met Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Dr. Jitendra Singh, in New Delhi and raised several demands including providing suitable land for Godowns to the shopkeepers of the Ware House-Nehru Market.
Gupta said that the process has started in this direction and it is expected that the years old demands of the shopkeepers will be fulfilled soon.
Referring to the work done by Federation during Covid-19, Deepak said that when the lockdown imposed, there were lot of problems in the continuation of supply of essential commodities but the Federation in collaboration with the administration issued the movement pass which felicitate the supply of essential commodities smoothly, even in the red zone areas.
Senior Vice President Dheeraj Gupta, Junior Vice President Munish Mahajan, General Secretary Deepak Gupta, Secretary Abhimanyu Gupta, Cashier Vishal Gupta, Yashpal Gupta, President Retailers Federation, Prithvi Raj Gupta, former General Secretary Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jammu, Kirti Gupta, President Dal Merchant Association, Ajay Gupta, President Potato Onion Association, Sham Lal Gupta, former Sr. Vice President and Ram Langer, FORMER General Secretary of Federation along with other members of Executive/ Working Committee were present in the meeting.
