SAMBA: In an ongoing tennis ball night cricket tournament organised by Youth Sports & Affairs at High School Jatwal, Madgoli Cricket Club won the match by 4 wickets.
Match was played between Madgoli Cricket 11, Jatwal vs Rajpura Cricket Club ,Rajpura. Rajpura Cricket Club decided to bat first by winning the toss. Saksham and Akhil Bharti opened the inning and gave a good start to their team.
Despite having good start, Rohit, Vicku and bhanu couldn’t make a big score but Jimmy played a good knock of 22 runs in 23 balls. Rajpura Cricket Club gave the target of 101 runs by losing 5 wickets in 12 overs.
Madgoli Cricket Club, chasing the target, won the match by scoring 102 runs after losing 6 wickets in 10.5 overs.
MCC came to bat which was lead by young captain Aman Sharma it is his first match on such a big plat form and Came to open for his team.
At the very early stage MCC lost 4 wickets in which bowler Rohit bowled extremely well and took a hat-trick. And at that time it seems to be an end of the match but after that there was a great partnership between Aman and Sushil. Aman played a brilliant knock and a captaincy inning and scored 32 runs of 25 balls. After the dismissal of Aman the match seems to be in the hands of RCC but a player of very young age Gopal came to bat and played a well appreciated inning and scored 31 runs of just 13 balls and was awarded with the Man of the match. It was very intersting match that was witnessed in this tournament.
