JAMMU: In a bid to facilitate services at doorsteps, Tehsildar Jammu North, Jai Singh today issued 110 income certificates and 50 domicile certificates on the spot to the applicants.
In this connection, a camp was organised at Ward No 66 of Jammu city in which Corporator of the area Tripta was also present.
The domicile certificate camp was organized on the directions of the worth Deputy Commissioner Jammu, aiming to provide services at people’s doorstep. Speaking on the occasion, Jai Singh said “The step is aimed at providing respite to the people from the hassle of visiting the offices of the Tehsildars to apply for the domicile certificate.”
The Tehsildar said that the purpose of the campaign is that people get domicile certificate at doorstep. He further said the camp would continue till the last applicant in this area was issued the domicile certificate. During the camp, he also asked people to maintain social distancing and follow COVID19 precautionary measures while attending the camp.
