Tariq hails Sidharth’s nomination as Associate Joint Secretary VFI

POONCH: Chairman of Shaheed DySP Manjit Singh Memorial Volleyball Club, Poonch, Mohd Tariq has hailed nomination of Sidharth Daluja as Associate Joint Secretary, Volleyball Federation of India (VFI).
In a press statement issued here, Tariq said that nomination of Sidharth Daluja as Associate Joint Secretary in National sports body will help a lot in the promotion of Volleyball in J&K UT. “Under leadership of Sidharth Daluja, as President of J&K Volleyball Association, the association has achieved great heights. The players displayed exemplary game and won many awards and championships. Even in Poonch, players got two Rangil Singh awards and a State award. Saqlain Tariq received State award and Rangil Singh award while Mohd Tariq got Rangi Singh award. Moreover, J&K Sub-junior Volleyball team also qualified for Pune Khelo India Games and Saqlain Tariq won Silver medal in Asian games under 23-year championship and Bronze in BRICS games. He also played Pro-volleyball league from U-Mumbai,” said Tariq.
