JAMMU: Traffic police on Wednesday caught a SUV with fake registration number in Gandhi Nagar area. As per details, a fake number SUV (PB10AC 0087) was caught in Gandhi Nagar Jammu by SO Traffic Anil Kumar Jad, while Challaning driver for using mobile phone while driving. The number of vehicle, when entered in E-challan machine, didn’t show any registration with RTO Punjab, as such the vehicle was seized and sent to Police Station Gandhi Nagar Jammu for legal action. SI Anil Kumar Jad has done a brilliant use of latest technology and e-challaning system which led to tracing of a fake number-plate vehicle. His work has been appreciated by officers.
