NOWSHERA: Former Member Legislative Councilor (MLC) and newly appointed State General Secretary and Member, Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of People’s Democratic Party, Surinder Choudhary has resigned from both the posts on Wednesday. He submitted his resignation letter to PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, resigning from both posts.In his letter to Party President, Surinder Choudhary said that Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had formed PDP in 1999 with a sole aim out of his vision and foresightedness to provide a viable political alternative to existing political groups by channelising the potential of every worker and leader. In my case, he provided me numerous opportunities to grow being a resident of border area of Rajouri, he added.Offering to work as a simple worker, Surinder Choudhary also extended best wishes to Mehbooba Mufti for her future journey as party President, but according to sources, he is likely to quit party also.
