SRINAGAR: The Assistant Commissioner, Food Safety Srinagar on Monday called upon all the street food vendors of district Srinagar to register themselves under Food Safety & Standards Act by accessing Website https://foscos.fssai.gov.in or by approaching nearest CSC (Khidmat) Centre within 10 days to avail the benefits under Prime Ministers SVANidhi beneficiary scheme.As per an official handout, it was informed that according to the Assistant Commissioner Food Safety Government of India, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has initiated socio-economic profiling of street vendors and their families under Prime Ministers SVANidhi beneficiary scheme with effect from 04 January, 2021 so that the benefit of the scheme is availed by them.
