JAMMU: Police on Wednesday arrested two thieves and recovered a stolen bike from their possession.
According to reports, on 18th January a case vide FIR No. 20/2016 under Section 379 RPC was registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar on the complaint of one Jeevanjyot Singh son of Gurcharan Singh, resident of Nanak Nagar that his bike Pulsar 220 bearing registration No. JK02AP-0470 was stolen from his house.
Dy.SP SDPO City South Jammu, Sachin Gupta constituted a special team headed by Inspector Bishnesh Kumar and the investigation was entrusted to ASI Om Parkash.
The team rounded up a number of suspects and finally apprehended two youths and also recovered a stolen from them.
The arrested youth have been identified as Rishi Dev Singh son of Vasu Dev Singh Jamwal resident of 128-C Sainik Colony Jammu and Vishal Singh Charak son of Gautam Singh Charak resident of Kartholi Bari Brahmna.
