Jammu: In its efforts to strengthen the traffic police-public relations, a meeting was held on Sunday near Macca Masjid, Bathindi.It was the second in the series of such public meetings, which the SSP Traffic City Jammu, Shiv Kumar Sharma intends to hold in the entire Jammu City.The meeting was chaired by SSP Traffic, Shiv Kumar Sharma and was attended by DTI Narwal Inspector Ashwani Kumar, DTI Bus Stand Inspector Suhail Ahmad, SO(T) SI Javed Ahmad, I/c PP Bathindi SI Kamalpreet, I/c PP Narwal SI Vikas Jasrotia besides a large number of respectable citizens from Bathindi and Sunjwan areas.Moreover, Hafeez Ullah (Sarpanch Bathindi), Bhutto Choudhary (Chairman Narwal Panchayat), Mohd Tariq (Retired JE), Md Sadiq Malik and Jamaat Ali also participated in the meeting.The participants raised various public issues like creation of Mini Bus Stand at Bathindi and Sunjwan, passenger shed near Madrassa at Bathindi and passenger shed near Army Gate Sunjwan.SSP Traffic, while speaking on the occasion, assured the participants for all possible help for redressal of problems highlighted by them.SSP Traffic urged them to follow traffic rules religiously for minimizing traffic accidents.
