JAMMU: The District Fund Office Jammu on Monday asked all Drawing and Disbursing Officers to get the unregistered staff members for SMS GPF alert service registered forthwith as the service provides details of monthly subscriptions through message. Through SMS alter service, the subscribers are updated about his/her hard earned deposits and with the recently introduced “Real Time Posting”, the registration under SMS Alert Service is imperative.“The Drawing and Disbursing Officers are informed to attend this vital aspect on priority in the interest of proper accounting of the money of their staff members with updated information through SMS by providing requisite information” a handout stated.
