SKUAST-J Women Basketball, Badminton teams leave for North Zone meet

JAMMU: The SKUAST-Jammu women basketball and badminton teams on Wednesday left for participation in North Zone Inter University Basketball and Badminton Tournaments 2021-2022 at Chitkara University, Punjab from December 30, 2021 to January 2, 2022.
The selected team earlier underwent screening conducted by Committee constituted by Dean Students Welfare.
Vice Chancellor SKUAST-Jammu, Prof. J.P. Sharma flagged off basketball and badminton teams at University Campus Chatha, Jammu.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the enthusiasm put forth by the students for the tournament and conveyed his good wishes to the members of the team.
The DSW complimented the VC for his whole hearted support to the SKUAST-Jammu team members.
Neeraj Gupta, Physical Instructor, Team Coach and Team Manager and Nazir Hussain, OCC as helper is accompanying the team.
