JOURIAN: Singh Cricket Club entered the semifinals of Jourian Premier League being organized by Crossed Swords Division Rakh Muthi.Earlier in the quater-final match played on Monday, Singh Cricket Club outplayed Mattoo Cricket club by 68 runs.batting first after winning the toss, Singh Cricket Club scored 199 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Chandan Sharma played a brilliant knock of 100 runs off 52 balls while Sandeep Singh, Sumit Pandit and Rohit added 23, 19 and 14 runs respectively to the total.For Mattoo Club, Sachin got two wickets while Rohit, Rajat, Navjot and Vicky grabbed one wicket each. in reply, Mattoo Club failed to chase the target and managed to score only 131 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Vicky and Sachin made 26 runs each while Rajay scored 17. For Singh Cricket Club, S.S Langeh, Sumit Pandit and Sandeep scalped two wickets each while Binny and Stiphen took one each.For his century knock, Chandan Sharma was declared as Man of the Match.
