SUNDERBANI: Several organisations burnt effigy of Pakistan and staged protests over the recent killing of civilians & army personnel in Jammu and Kashmir by terrorists. They said such violence is the result of frustration among separatists as the region is seeing fast development and peace.Hundreds of people in collaboration with senior leaders Shiv Sena & Rashtriya Bajrang Dal (RBD) Susheel Suden, Davinder Singh, Capt. Nasib Singh, Pishori Lal Sharma, Yashpal Seith and others took part in a rally, held protest against the killings and demanded action against terrorists amid raising anti-Pakistan slogans. Protesters also gave memorandum to Tehsildar Sunderbani Ravi Shankar.They said Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed a number of killings of civilians in the last few days, with the latest on Thursday, when principal Supinder Kaur and teacher Deepak Chand were shot dead at point blank range inside a government school in Srinagar recently martyred JCO & 4 soldiers.Makhan Lal Bindroo, a prominent Kashmiri Pandit, and a vendor, Virendra Paswan from Bihar, were killed by terrorists in Srinagar they said.They said we are holding protests to express our anger over the selective and systematic killing of minorities (Sikhs and Hindus) in Kashmir.
