JAMMU: Hailing successful completion of DDC elections, S. Surjit Singh, General Secretary, All J&K 1947 PoJK Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum expressed hope that all newly elected DDC members would work for mitigating sufferings of people at grass root level.
In a press statement issued here, Singh congratulated all newly elected DDC members in general and Abdul Qayoom Mir from District Rajouri in particular besides wishing them success in their mission.
“I am hopeful all newly elected DDC members would work hard to meet expectations of people and PoJK refugees in their respective constituency besides initiating measures to resolve all pending issues, as people have pinned high hopes with them,” he added.
