Sharnarthi Forum expresses concern on rapid surge in COVID positive cases



JAMMU: Expressing concern on surge in COVID positive cases with every passing day, All J&K 1947 PoJK Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum urged the administration to take necessary measures for containing the spread of contagious virus.
Speaking during a meeting, held under the leadership of President Adv Amrik Singh along with General Secretary Surjit Singh, the members discussed the prevailing situation of UT in respect of COVID-19, which has claimed lakhs of precious lives across the globe. People are dying but present administration is busy in installing deadly units like towers along with other pollution creating units, which were closed by successive State Govts, the members alleged.
Referring to allegations and counter-allegations leveled by politicians, which create adverse effects on reputation of organization, the forum suggested for solving the matter across the table. The Forum further appealed to the UT administration to constitute a high level committee headed by a retired judge of High Court for investigating the matter.
