Shaheed Manjit Club wins Volleyball tie

POONCH: Shaheed Manjit Singh Memorial Volleyball Club defeated Shaheed Mumtaz Memorial Club Chandak 3-0 to win the game organised as part of the ongoing events being organised by the District Police Poonch in memories of the Martyrs of J&K Police at Sports Stadium, here today.
International spiker from district Poonch, Saqlain Tariq was star attraction in the one-match event, who interacted with the participants and encouraged those young boys. Earlier, Shaheed Manjit Club won the game 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-16).
The match was witnessed besides others by visiting guest, IGP Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh. He interacted with the players from both the teams also gave away the prizes.
The IGP was accompanied by DIG Rajouri- Pooch Range, Vivek Gupta; SSP Rajouri, Chandan Kohli and SSP Poonch, Ramesh Angral.
Mukesh Singh, who had served as police head of the district, appreciated the contributions of the Shaheed Manjit Club in promoting volleyball in the border district.
He advised the young players to follow the foot prints of Saqlain Tariq and work hard for to achieve the desired goals.
Today’s match was officiated by the technical panel including Sidarat Hussain, Mohd Ikhlaq, Waseem Akram and Anjum Mehtab.
