Several join Shiv Sena



DODA: Impressed by Shiv Sena’s ideology and persons, about three hundred persons joined party during a public meeting organised in which the Party’s Doda Unit was also constituted. The new entrants including dozens of regional party leaders joined Shiv Sena in the presence of party state president Manish Sahni.
Shiv Sena General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Vice President Balwant Singh, in-charge Ashwani Prabhakar and Raj Singh besides Sumit Abrol who were present on the occasion, welcomed the new members with Shivbandhan and party symbol. Meanwhile Shiv Sena state unit President, Manish Sahni announced the constitution of Doda unit of the party declaring a young flamboyant leader of the region, Vinod Kotwal as the President of the newly constituted Doda unit. The other office bearers of the Doda unit is Ratna Mala as Women Wing President, Sahni declared Vinod Kotwal, a young flamboyant leader as the president of the district Doda ,,.Ratna Mala was given the post of Women Wing President, Natha Singh and Surendra Kumar as Vice President, Sunil Kalyan as Working President, Sarpanch Bharat Singh as General Secretary, Arvind Kotwal, Ranjit Kumar, Parshotam Singh as Secretary. Natwar Lal Raina was included in the state unit and given the post of vice-president. While addressing the gathering , Manish Sahni said that the party activists and workers as well as the leaders of Jammu and Kashmir unit are working relentlessly for restoration of peace and justice and statehood to J&K. Moreover, Shiv Sena is focussing its struggle on seeking equal political rights of Jammu division that has been neglected for over seven decades due to Kashmir centric governance, he added.
