JAMMU: Secretary J&K Sports Council (JKSC), Naseem Javaid Chowdhary on Saturday visited K K Hakku Stadium and interacted with the hockey players and the office bearers of the Hockey Jammu and Kashmir.
The Secretary was received by the working president of the Hockey J&K, Rajiv Sharma and Sports Officer of the JKSC, Ashok Singh.
During interactions, the Secretary inquired about the facilities being extended to the players, especially those female trainees from members of the Association and the concerned coaches.
The Secretary was accompanied by former General Secretary of Hockey J&K, G.S Bakshi, President Secretary, Dr Taran Singh and other senior members.
Meanwhile, Hockey J&K also celebrated the new year with young trainees of the K K Hakku Stadium.
Rajiv is working President of Hockey J&K
JAMMU: Hockey Jammu and Kashmir made senior member, Rajiv Sharma as Working President of the Association after the sitting president, Kanta Andotra expressed her inability to continue.
The appointment was approved in the Annual General Meeting of the Hockey J&K held in the recent past.
Rajiv Sharma is a prominent businessman and has been working for the welfare of the game of hockey since long.
