UDHAMPUR: To give a message to the society that we must share every happy moment of our life with specially-able segment of the society, Senior Citizens’ Club Udhampur (SCCU) celebrated birthday of Club Chairman Dr. Adarsh by distributing sweets, fruits and other eatables among ‘Divyang’ at ‘Divyang Ashram Udhampur’. The women co-members of the club, management of the Divyang Ashram, people from writers’ forum and members of the Club were present on the occasion. Dr. Rajinder Singh, physiotherapist, who is providing free medical care to Divyang specially registered his presence on the occasion and presented a bouquet to Sadhna and Dr. Adarsh on behalf of SCCU and Divyang.Later on the Club celebrated the occasion on the Club platform. Speaking on the occasion President of the Club Mahadeep Singh Jamwal apprised that as able member of the society, it should be our humanistic approach towards the specially-able segment of the society to share our very moments of happiness with them to inculcate a feeling of self respect and part of the advancing society and feel secure and safe in the society. Those who were present on the occasion were Jagdeep Dubey, renowned Dogri writer, SK Gandotra ex- Joint Director Education Deptt, Dr. Shashi Kant and Jugal Gupta of Jagriti Oldage Home Udhampur.
