JAMMU: Samba District Athletics Association shall be holding three-day District Championship at Baba Santhok Stadium, Smailpur staring from December 27.
The championship shall be organized under the aegis of J&K Amateur Athletics Association and in collaboration with J&K Sports Council, a handout issued here today informed.
Those eligible athletes have been advised to contact Nirmal Singh (7889401211) and Rakesh Charak (8825010618).
The Proposed Events: Under 14 years: 60 mtr, 600 mtr, Long Jump. Under 16 years: 100 mtr, 300 mtr, 800 mtr, Long Jump. Under 18 years: 100 mtr, 200 mtr, 400 mtr, 800 mtr, 1500 mtr,Long Jump. Under 20 years: 100 mtr, 200 mtr, 400 mtr, 800 mtr, 1500 mtr, 3000 mtr, Long Jump, Shot Put. Open Category: 100 mtr, 200 mtr, 400 mtr, 800 mtr, 1500 mtr, 5000 mtr, Long Jump, Shot Put.
