STATE TIMES NEWSNowshera: A lecture was conducted at Bal Vidhya Mandir School premises, Dharat on Monday on ill effects of drugs. The event was organised by Kalal Rashtriya Rifles Battalion. Drug addiction has become a problem worldwide amongst the youth. The seminar started with opening remarks of Neena Sharma, BDC Chairman block Seri.Elucidating the importance of educating the society on the ill effects of drug by the Army medical Doctor from Kalal Rashtriya Rifles. The youth were briefed in detail about the early symptoms of drug and preventive actions against it.The lecture was attended by a total of 90 individuals falling in under various age groups. Among them 50 were youth and the remaining 40 individuals were ladies and the elderly. The program was conducted in a cordial and engaging environment followed by an interactive session in which the youth also contributed with their thoughts on drug abuse. The aim of organising this event was to create awareness among the youth and general public about the bdreadful effects of drug and steps to be taken to create this menace from society.
