RGKFI appoints Chairman, Vice-President


JAMMU: The Renmei-Goju Ryu Karate-Do Federation of India (RGKFI) on Friday made appointments to strengthen the organisational structure of one of the Karate styles in the country.
In separate letters issued, general secretary of the Federation, Shihan Sanjeev Dewan has appointed Dr Malik Azad of Anantnag in Kashmir as chairman and Sensei Mohammad Rafijuddin, chief instructor Manipur, as vice president.
“Lying vacant for some time, two positions of office bearers of the Federation have been filled in consultation with the governing body. Orders have been issued in this regard with the sole aim to strengthen the Renmie-Goju Ryu style of Karate in the country,” said General Secretary of the RGKFI, Sanjeev Dewan.
Meanwhile, the Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Association of J&K appointed district Poonch President and Advocate, Zamir Muslim of Surankote as Legal Advisor.
