UDHAMPUR: J&K New Pension Scheme (NPS) Employees United Front District Udhampur held a meeting under the leadership of UT President Mohd. Ashraf on Saturday in which leaders highlighted genuine issues and also demanded to restore old pension scheme.
Speakers on the occasion highlighted that employees who were appointed after Jan.1, 2010 were debarred from pension facilities. They alleged that Govt. has adopted biased attitude towards employees and sacked old pension facilities from employees. “Employees are doing their best while performing professional duties even in any crises liked covid-19, despite that Govt. withdrawn pension scheme and enforced new pension scheme to the employees appointed after 2010 which is very disappointed. They urged the Govt. to restore old pension scheme by scrapping new one so that employees can heave a sigh of relief.
In meeting after making common consensus, Amit Sharma was nominated as District President. Others who present in meeting were Vice President Raman Sharma, Ajeet Singh and UT Gen. Secy Rohit Sharma, David Sandhu, Atul Kashyap, Rishi Sharma, Raman Kumar Gupta, Rakesh Kumar, Anil Sharma, Neel Gagan, Sunil Singh, Mohit Khajuria, Pritam Singh, Vikas Singh, Rattan Singh, Vijay Kumar, Bodh Raj, Sukesh Sharma, Atul Kumar and many more.
