STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: Apni Party State Coordinators Displaced Kashmiri Pandits of Jammu and Kashmir Divisions Vinod Pandita and Sanjay Dhar along with Apni party leader Vishal Jotshi on Saturday rushed to Jagti township on the persistent demand of the residents regarding the damage caused to electricity poles and wires due to heavy Storm and rain of last night and with the result the regular supply of electricity has been badly hampered since last night and enormous damage has been caused to the wires and electric poles.In a press statement issued to press by Vinod Pandita said that after coming to know that the heavy damage has been caused to the electric poles and wires in Jagti township Jammu resulting in stoppage of regular supply of electricity since yesterday night and blocked the movement of people due to falling of poles and wires in the middle of the roads.Pandita said that agitating people were calmed down after assuring them that regular supply will be restored shortly after bringing the matter in to the knowledge of party Provincial President Manjeet Singh on telephone on whose assurances people stopped their agitation and expressed gratitude to provincial President.Sanjay Dhar appealed Chief Engineer Jammu to restore the electricity forthwith keeping in view ongoing summer season.
