RD arrangements reviewed at Pulwama

PULWAMA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer convened a meeting of concerned officers to finalise the arrangements for the smooth celebration of Republic Day-2021.
During the meeting, threadbare discussions were held regarding security, first aid, cleanliness and sanitation, seating arrangements, power and water supply, decoration of the main venue, deployment of fire tenders, transportation facilities, invitations and other arrangements besides adherence to Covid-19 SOPs for smooth celebration of the national event.
The meeting was informed that colorful cultural programmes based on Nationalism, Fundamental Duties, Folk, and Culture would also be presented on the occasion.
The DC informed the meeting that the main function shall be organised at DPL Pulwama where the National Flag would be hoisted by the Chief Guest followed by the parade consisting of the contingents from JK Police, CRPF, NCC cadets.
