Rapid antigen tests done at Ware House

JAMMU: Taking extra precautions amid new coronavirus strain reports, Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market Jammu with the help of Health Department Jammu on Thursday conducted rapid antigen tests for COVID-19 at ware house.
On the Request of Federation General Secretary, Deepak Gupta, CMO Jammu Dr. J.P. Singh and Nodal Officer Dr. Mridula Gupta deputed special team in ware house. Medical team tested 60 workers and employees of Ware House and all of them tested Cobvd-19 negative.

Deepak Gupta, on this occasion said that the strain has already reached a number of countries, including Italy, Sweden, France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Canada, Japan, prompting more than 50 countries, including India.
Considering the situation, Federation requested the Health Department to conduct this camp. Deepak Gupta said that this new COVID strain is said to be 70 percent more transmissible from the novel coronavirus disease, triggering fear and panic amongst the society and as a precationary measure Federation once again conducted this camp.
“Many more such camps will be organised in coming days,” he said.
