Randhawa urges people to avail benefits of welfare schemes

JAMMU: Former Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch Vikram Randhawa has urged people to come forward for availing benefits of people-friendly welfare schemes launched by the Government.
During his public outreach programme, Randhawa visited Nanak Nagar and Trikuta Nagar areas of Gandhi Nagar assembly segment on Monday for taking stock of grievances being faced by residents. During his visit to the area, Randhawa said that Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to develop all hamlets of J&K irrespective of caste, colour and creed.
He said that public welfare is utmost priority of the Government and many welfare schemes have been launched for the same.
Randhawa urged the party cadre to make people aware regarding people friendly schemes of the government and also asked people to avail benefits of the same in large number. BJP cadre is reaching out to people to know their problems so that same can be addressed, he added.
The locals present on the occasion expressed gratitude towards former MLC for visiting their area and listening to their genuine demands. Expressing trust and faith in the BJP leadership, the locals extended full support to party.
Those who accompanied former MLC included Neeraj Puri Mandal Pradhan and Councillor, Naresh Gupta, Pawan Gupta, Anirudh Gupta, Deepak Gupta and PWD officials.
