Ramban Admn pays rich tributes to Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar



RAMBAN: District Administration Ramban on Monday paid rich tributes to Bharat Ratna, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Divas which was observed here across the district.
Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mussarat Islam paid floral tributes to Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar at a programme organized by the Department of Social Welfare and ICDS Department to mark the 66th death anniversary of the architect of the Indian Constitution.
Assistant Commissioner Development Zameer Rishu; District Social Welfare Officer, Wahid-Ul-Rehman and other officers and officials also attended the function.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that Dr. B.R Ambedkar, known for his great influence in India in eradicating the social scourge of un touch ability, also served as the Minister of Law and Justice in the first cabinet of Jawaharlal Nehru from 1947 to 1951.
The DC impressed upon the officers and officials to reach out to the last person of the society to provide him benefits of the Government schemes and social justice which will be a real tribute to Baba Saheb, Dr, Bhimrao Rao Ambedkar Ji.
