POONCH: Shahnawaz Choudhary along with office bearers of Bar Association Surankote on Wednesday addressed the press conference at Court Complex Surankote to highlight the problems and issues of the people. Earlier the Bar association welcomed Shahnawaz Choudhary in court complex and discussed the public issues in length.While addressing the media Shahnawaz Choudhary lambasted the Govt for ignoring the district Poonch and particularly Surankote regarding the basic facilities like water, electricity, health and education. He said that there is more than 12 hours electricity cut in district Poonch in this severe winter which is injustice, unfair and high discrimination with the people of border district. In this era where the people demands industries, universities, highways etc, but the people of this area are still not getting the sufficient water supply and health facilities, as the hospitals of the district lacks the basic facilities and doctors. There is worst condition of education sector and roads connectivity. He appealed the LG Manoj Sinha and his administration to set up a committee to take cognizance of these issues and direct the concerned to restore the electricity of the area? He warned the Govt. that if the electricity will not be restored the people of the area will hit the roads to protest? President Bar Association Surankote Murtaza Khan, Senior advocates Mukhtar Sheikh, Iqbal Malik, Mohd Hussain Saleem, Sheraz Bajar, iftkhar Shah, Youth leaders Madasar Choudhary, Sikander Hayat, Asif Bajjar, Sarfraz Kassana , Ajaz Chouhan and Sher Khan were also present.
