Beside this, there were discussion regarding political system and Amarnath yatra as well, but it was not clear what was the outcome of meeting. It is mentionable here that it was first political engagement post 5th August 2019 when erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir bifurcated into two union territories Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh andalso special position under Articles 370 and 35A was abrogated. As Union Government initiated the political engagements in Jammu and Kashmir, different opinions and view points and reactions of the local political parties came out. On Sunday, National Conference party leaders were quite busy in several round of meetings at Dr. Farooq Abdullah’s Residence at Srinagar, wherein top leadership was also present to discuss present political scenario.
