Police produces charge-sheet in POCSO Act

Arnia: Police on Wednesday produced a charge-sheet in a case where an offence was committed against a child regarding kidnapping and sexual abuse.
As per details, SHO Arnia Harjeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan produced charge-sheet against two accused Balbir Kumar, son of Mohan Lal and Rahul Kumar, son of Sohan Lal, both residents of Makwal Jammu. It is pertinent to mention that in January, the duo kidnapped a minor girl (name with held) and sexually abused her. Subsequently an FIR No 5/2021 under sections 376, 363, 452 & 109 of IPC and 3/4 of POCSO Act was lodged at Police station Arnia and investigation was taken up. Both the accused were arrested and after collection of evidences, charge-sheet was produced in the Court of Law.
