Police caught notorious thieves; recovered stolen gold, motorcycles



JAMMU: Jammu Police nabbed notorious thieves and recovered around 30 tolas of gold, 22 Tolas of silver and 10 motorcycles.
Special teams of RS Pura Police led by Insp Jai Pal Sharma, SHO Police Station RS Pura and Insp Aijaz Wani, SHO Police Station Miran Sahib supervised by SDPO Shabir Khan and SP Head quarters Jammu Adil Hamid constituted by SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli to nab the thieves after some theft cases were registered in different Police stations in RS Pura Subdivision.
Special police teams arrested one notorious thief Sohan Lal alias Sonu S/O Tarsem Lal R/O Chakroi and on his disclosures, police teams raided some places in Punjab and recovered gold and silver ornaments. One gold smith identified as Kartar Chand M/S Om Jeweller’s Jalandhar was also arrested by the police to unearth the greater conspiracy.
Around eight theft cases were registered in different Police Stations in RS Pura, Bishnah, Arnia and Miran Sahib stands solved with the recovery of the gold and silver ornaments.
Simaltaneously team of Police Station Miran Sahib arrested two thieves namely Shubam Kamar, son of Rattan Lal r/o Deoli Bishnah and Anku Kumar s/o Babu Ram r/o Kanah Chak, RS Pura and on their disclosures 10 stolen motorcycles were recovered.
With this many cases registered in Police stations in Jammu and Samba districts are being solved.
