JAMMU: In a Public Interest Litigation filed by Samaj Sudhar Committee seeking completion of Tangchater Bridge, which is being constructed by JKPCC, North, Srinagar; a Division Bench of Jammu & Kashmir High Court comprising Chief Justice Pankaj Mithal and Justice Sanjay Dhar directed AAG to file affidavit regarding status of the project. When the PIL came-up for hearing, the Division Bench observed that at one point of time a statement was made that it will be completed by May 2021, but Court was not informed as to whether the same has been completed and made functional.DB directed AAG, appearing for respondents, to seek instructions and file an affidavit clearly indicating whether project has been completed and made functional.
