Panchayat Members from Shopian Join Apni Party

SRINAGAR: Prominent Panchayat members from Wachi, Shopian on Wednesday joined Apni Party at the Party office in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.
The Panchayat members who joined Apni Party included Bashir Ahmad Itoo( Panch-Kungno), Ghulam Mohammad Shah (Panch-Melhora), Amir Ali (Panch-Wachi), Lateef Kaloo (Panch-Aloopora), Abdul Hayy (Panch-Narwani), Musadiq Hussain (Panch-Wachi), Abdus Salaam Reshi (Panch-Wachi) and Manzoor Ahmad Reshi (Panch-Wachi).
The joining ceremony took place in presence of Apni Party Vice President Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir, District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh.
Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, Apni Party Vice President Zaffar Iqbal Manhas impressed upon them to work for welfare of the common people in their respective Panchayat Halqas and fasten the pace of rural developmental projects.
On the occasion, the Panchayat members thanked the Party leadership for providing him with such a platform and avowed to strengthen the party at grass root level.
