SAMBA: After conducting preliminary investigation under Section 174 RPC in Palvee Gupta suspicious death case, SHO Samba has registered a case vide FIR No 5/2021 under section 304-B of IPC against husband of victim Abhishek Badyal and his family. It was disclosed by SSP Samba and SHO, while talking to STATE TIMES on Monday. The SSP further said that FIR can be converted into Section 302 of IPC depending on outcome of investigation.According to the report, victim Palvee Gupta, wife of Abhishek Badyal, resident of Ward No 8, Bantalab Samba was found dead in her house and was shifted to hospital, where doctors declared her as brought dead. Meanwhile parents of victim alleged that their daughter has been murdered by her husband and family members, for which they have sufficient evidence. The SHO further said that police is continuing with its investigation, which would be finalised on receipt of medical report.
