JAMMU: The International Institute of J&K Studies and Analysis (IIJKSA) has alleged that some ISI sponsored elements, who have no locus standi on Jammu and Kashmir have began an propaganda against Member of Parliament of the United Kingdom, Virender Sharma.
Pertinent to mention here that IIJKSA is an association constituted by the democratic intellectuals of Jammu & Kashmir to promote academic research and analysis of local events. It is promoting marginalised voices in J&K since last 3 years. It is a think-tank based in Jammu & Kashmir which represents voice of true natives. In a letter addressed to UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the IIJKSA members said that action by BBC Corporation on 18 January, showing J&K not part of India on a map, has devastated each bonafide citizen of Jammu & Kashmir. It has resulted in deep anguish in hearts of natives besides generating anti-BBC feelings. Virendra Sharma MP from Labour Party correctly complained to the BBC who later corrected the mistake and apologised for the same on January 19.
“Unfortunately, few ISI sponsored Pakistanis who have no locus standi on Jammu & Kashmir and are totally radicalized and indoctrinated on the facts and ongoing history, have chosen to begin adverse propaganda against a loyal MP Virender Sharma. This is nothing short of sacrilege and blasphemy. Their campaign is funded by ISI of Pakistan using Narco money and forced donations from the hapless ‘on gun points’. Unfortunately, a large number of covert and overt organisations flourish in UK with this agenda. Various attacks on the Indian Nationals on the streets of London or in front of Indian High Commission are a case in point. Even the local self governing bodies in London support this as has been evident on large number of occasions. The charges of rape and human rights in Jammu & Kashmir are all malicious and hold no water. Abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A has emboldened rights of more than 7 million citizens in J&K who were not granted fundamental rights since 1947. Even vast majority of Indian Muslims, including the ones in J&K, do not support this fairy tale orchestrated by ISI of Pakistan. I will advise some history classes for these ISI of Pakistan overts who thrive on narco money.”
The IIJKSA urged Prime Minister of UK eradicate the termite which is busy corroding peace and prosperity of natives of J&K besides initiating appropriate steps to rein in Jehadi virus. They also lauded efforts of Virender Sharma MP and demanded suitable protection for him.
