JAMMU: Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) on Tuesday started Online Yoga-Meditation classes for Govt. Schools of Jammu Division. All Chief Education Officers of Jammu Division have been asked to utilize the services of Master Trainers and other trained Yoga Teachers available in the respective Districts/Zones to conduct regular Yoga, Meditation & Ayurveda classes (online/offline mode) in govt. Schools from 15th December, 2020 onwards covering range of topics for holistic wellbeing of children. They has been asked to make it a part of daily school routine for preparing students as brand ambassadors of Yoga which include simple actionable tips around basic Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda (Dincharya & Ritucharya), Nutrition boosting immunity etc. Besides, the concerned have been asked to organise all proposed weekly activities on Fitness under DSEJ Project Fit India School week-2020 in offline as well as online mode and sent timely report for compilation and uploading on Fit India Portal. For holding online/offline activities and Yoga Classes on SARAL DSEJ online education android app can be used to create online schedule and conduct online fitness activities, Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda classes.
