JAMMU: To highlight a number of issues, a meeting of All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU), district Kupwara, was held under leadership of District President Master Abdul Kareem Hajam on Sunday.Speaking during the meeting, Vice-president Nazir Ahmed Teli criticised Modi Government for its false propaganda. Despite abrogation of Article 370, nothing has changed in J&K except nomenclature from J&K state to JK-UT, he added.Highlighting issues of OSC certificates, Mohd Ramzan, General Secretary alleged that Tehsidars do not go by rules of 2017, which proves that renewal of certificate has to be done on bases of income certificate and not by processing the case afresh.Prof Kali Dass, J&K General Secretary also participated in the meet through video-conferencing. “There are two active groups in J&K, one is the Gupkar group while other is Gapkar. Both have the same policy of looting constitutional rights of OBCs. Gupkar group implemented the reservation in accordance with 2004 act and Gapkar group also adopted the same way. It shows that both groups have mutual understanding and people are being deceived by false assurances through print media,” he alleged.Others present in the meeting included Abdul Majid Ahanger, Javed Ahmed Hajam, Gulam Ahmed Kandi, Dr Faiz Quazi, Nazir Tabasam Zia Nazir Ahmed, Adv Mehboob ul Haq, Aijaz Ahmed, Nisar Ahmed Najar and Gulam Mohi ud Din Sheikh.
