‘No to bullet, yes to ballot’ is new Kashmir: Dr Darakhshan

BUDGAM: Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday held huge election rallies at Bagat-e-Kanipora in Budgam district and Khrew in Pulwama district. Senior party leaders Syed Shanawaz Hussain, Syed Zaffar-ul Islam, Dr Darakhshan Andrabi and Vibodh Gupta addressed the rallies.
In his address BJP National Spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said that BJP has already made inroads into the political arena of Kashmir valley.
“Earlier traditional political dispensations of Kashmir were allergic to the healthy democratic politics and openly used to state that they will not allow BJP to land in Kashmir. This autocratic approach was dangerous for democracy. Now when they are marginalized, democracy in the true spirit is taking roots in Kashmir,” said Shahnawaz.
He expressed his happiness on the emergence of the new young and positive thinking political leadership in Kashmir valley.
BJP’s local star campaigner Dr Darakhshan Andrabi said that the new Kashmir is emerging out of the long gloom which will be a torch bearer to the whole of India within a very short span now.
“New Kashmir hopes for peace and prosperity; new Kashmir has chosen ballots and shunned bullets. Youth of valley want a bright and secured future. Our developmental vision for J&K will transform the lives of people here,” said Dr Andrabi.
She also said that huge economic and industrial windows are opening in J&K by virtue of which the youth of the UT will find jobs and opportunities to grow and exhibit their immense talent.
“A holistic developmental plan has been chalked out by the government for overall development and streamlining of the working systems in J&K,” said Dr Andrabi.
BJP Senior Party leaders Syed Zaffar-ul-Islam and Vibodh Gupta sought votes for the BJP and Narendra Modi’s mission of development for J&K.
